What I can tell you is you don't have to participate in it. When you tune into the horrific things going on and you become angry or fearful, you're now contributing to that darkness, that negativity. Where your mind goes, energy flows. Let me repeat that: where your mind goes, energy flows. Where do you choose to send your energy? It really is your choice if you choose to take part in the negativity. I am not denying the atrocities, I am not negating how terrible the situations are for people. I am saying, why put your energy there and add your own negative fear/resentment/anger/sadness charge that escalates the collective thought form?
What is a collective thought form? When enough people are resonating the same emotion at the same time, it becomes a collective thought form which will grow the more people resonate with it. When we connect to these thought forms, they don't make our lives any easier. It's like our radio is tuned into that fear station or that lack station. Collective thought forms are indeed very real.
I remember a news story that I saw on Facebook last year about a haunted little grocery store somewhere in the United States. A bowl of candy was pushed off the counter and smashed on the floor. This was caught on video camera. As you watch the video, you see the static bowl all of a sudden fly off the counter and no one was around. Reading this article, I was gripped with fear. I found this to be very odd and had to pause a minute. I deal with Spirits all the time and they don't scare me. What I saw on the video does not scare or surprise me, so why was I feeling really afraid? In short order, I figured out that I'd tuned into the collective conscious. There were a lot of people who read this article who it did scare - so much so that it turned into a collective thought form. Once I realized what happened and disconnected from the fear energy, I felt just fine.
What can you do about this? Be conscious. Choose what energy you desire to intermingle with. Avoid the mainstream news, avoid the negative. Seek out positivity. There are a lot of great sites that focus just on good news, like www.goodnewsnetwork.org and www.sunnyskyz.com. Avoid the trolling comments below articles. Block negative people on Facebook from your news feed. Work on yourself to create a more positive environment for you. Your creating a positive space and mindset will have a ripple effect - one that would really help the world. Want to change the world or just have a happier life? Start with yourself - your energy.
