I saw this cartoon and thought, at this juncture in my life this resonates with me in so many ways. Life can sometimes feel like a giant maze. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to get a bird’s eye view and find the paths of least resistance? I think we are given tools to do this. I remember hearing a comparison of the valley and the mountain. Our ego is the one down in the valley trying to navigate through life. It uses its experiences, beliefs and emotions to make its way. But, it can only see what’s there just in front of it. Our Higher Self is the one up on top of the mountain with a perfect view of the valley. It's happy to help us navigate, we just have to ask and then listen. If we don’t feel that we can hear our Higher Self, we can ask the help of our Angels and Guides. Then, we have to trust. The ego can really hold us back if we allow it to. Each day I try more and more to be open to that inner knowing, to that gentle tug, to that ‘voice’ belonging to the part of me that has a better view of where I am and how to get me to where I’d like to be. Though, I'll admit, sometimes the kid in me wouldn’t mind a trampoline ;)
Have a beautiful day - Adrienne :)

Adrienne, you have a gift for words when sharing insightful perspectives. I also like the trampoline idea very much, and although there are those moments and days when we feel like we're caught in a maze, but if we remain in a playful mode than it can become like a game of "hide n go seek". Reading your message is a perfect way to begin my day...thank you!!!

Thank you for your comment Silvia. I like your idea of remaining in a playful mode - much better than allowing ourselves to feel exasperated :) Hugs! - Adrienne :)
