I am often asked how I ended up in Sedona, AZ. Anyone who has been here knows that Sedona is special. It is a place of intense energy and it will bring up any issues you need to work on should that be your intention. It is a place of healing. It is a place where manifesting happens and usually pretty quickly. You have to be very careful of your thoughts, feeling and intentions because it doesn't take long for them to become reality. So, how did I end up in Red Rock country living in the desert? It was 2010 and I was in a rut. I mean a massive rut. I felt a complete disconnection from Source, Mother Earth and most definitely myself. I knew something had to change, but I had no idea what or how. So, I threw it out there to my Guides, God, the Universe. What do I do? What steps do I need to take? Within 48 hours I started to notice Google Ads for Sedona. I've set foot on every single continent and traveled all over the United States, but I'd never heard of Sedona. A day or so later, I was talking to a friend and mentioned that I kept seeing things about Sedona. She became very excited and proceeded to tell me that she had been there and that it is THE place to go for spiritual transformation. After that call and some other synchronicities, I started researching Sedona. I was able to check it out for myself during a road trip out West. The first place I went to and the first thing I did was climb Bell Rock. To be honest, I didn't feel the vortex energy everyone talks about, but the view was absolutely stunning. I knew that this place would be home at some point. It took me nearly a year, but I was able to move to the area in the fall of 2011. It has been the most amazing, challenging and mind-blowing experience. I feel healthy and energetic, more so than in any other place I've lived. I've met wonderful people and have had my horizons broadened (which is an understatement). I have no idea how long this nomadic Soul will stay in Sedona, but until that time, I plan to continue to grow, learn, hike, help others and experience life from the heart as much as I possibly can - all the while enjoying this beautiful, ever-changing landscape.
